The Hudson Bay area is a flat, low area covered by swampy forests and the Arctic Lowlands is a region of tundra. It is not a big region but covers many parts of many provinces. The provinces it covers are: Ontario, Nunavut, Manitoba, a small part of Quebec, N.W.T, and Yukon. It was formed in the Paleozoic era. Only 1 type of rock is found there which is sedimentary. The minerals that are in the region are: lignite, oil, and natural gas. The harsh climate does not permit farming. The land is used for mining and living space mainly. The Hudson Bay and James Bay are found there.
If you were to go to Prince of Wales island in the summer you could go swimming. You can surf and swim. Swimming suits is what you would need along with shorts and t shirts.
